It’s been way overdue that I share our Morocco trip we took last year. I loved so many things about the week we spent in Marrakech and took way to many photos. Marrakech hides so many treasures, so instead of trying to cram everything into one blog post, I decided to spread the visual joy and dedicate a post to each of my favorite spots. First, let me share a gorgeous riad we stayed in.
Welcome to the enchanting world of Riad Be Marrakech. Every inch of Riad Be is gorgeous, it’s a tranquil space that transports you to one thousand and one dreams.
LOCATION
Riad Be is located next to the Medina; the Medina is the old historic center of Marrakech. The Medina is famous for its narrow alleys filled with street vendors and shops selling the most beautiful handmade wares.
From Riad Be you can walk to the Medina easily, so it’s the perfect location as you won’t need to take any taxis to explore. And after a long day of shopping & sightseeing Riad Be is the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the Medina and you’ll be happy to return here to relax.
The riad consists of two connected courtyards. One with its distinctive turquoise color and the other with beautiful tones of yellows, beiges and greens. Each courtyard has a pool that is the perfect place to relax and cool down from the Marrakech heat.
If the courtyards and gorgeous rooms were not enough, Riad Be created a rooftop oasis that’s just as jaw-dropping and the interior. Cacti, evergreens and little nooks for laying down and reading and of course taking tons of Instagram worthy photos.
Breakfast is also served on the roof and the food definitely does not disappoint at Riad Be. Our traditional Moroccan breakfast consisted of fresh fruit, yoghurt, fresh orange juice, Moroccan flat bread and delicious eggs made to order.
We also had lunch here and they make the most mouth-watering lamb tajine that did not make it on the photos because once we smelled it we could not resist eating it right away :D
HOW TO BOOK?
We booked directly at Riad Be’s website: https://www.be-marrakech.com
The staff is very kind and will explain how to get to the riad and will call you a cab whenever you need one. They also offer recommendations for places to eat, but I will also share my favorite places in my next blog post.
